With a focus on teaching scientifically based nursing, leadership and research, the American University of Health Sciences (AUHS) School of Nursing prepares students to make a positive impact on society by providing competent, caring and evidence-based nursing services to diverse patient populations.

One of the strengths of the School of Nursing and our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is our commitment to helping underserved communities. We recruit and select students from cultures and ethnicities poorly represented in the nursing community.

The comprehensive curriculum was developed to respond to the changing needs in healthcare and the diversity of the patient population. Related clinical instruction is arranged within the school, its affiliates or in selected community sites.

The AUHS School of Nursing has an experienced, well-qualified faculty. Graduates of the program are sought by leading healthcare institutions, non-profit organizations, local, state and government agencies, and other industries.
